We are incredibly meticulous about the products we offer. During production, quality control, handling and transit, we occasionally identify some deviations from our usual aesthetic standards. This might be something as small as a scratch, indentation, slight color variation, hardware mark or another cosmetic irregularity. In other instances, a product may be missing an accessory such as a removable strap. Some imperfections are barely noticeable, while others may be more visible and simply become part of the character of the product. Rather than discard or destroy an otherwise beautiful product, we would much rather give it the opportunity to find a home with you.

To the best extent possible, we will clearly describe any known imperfection on the individual product page, whether it is a minor scratch, missing strap or something else. Please read the product description carefully before purchasing so that you have as much information as possible about the product you will receive.

The craftsmanship and materials do not suddenly disappear because a bag has a scratch or was created as a sample. SSW gives us a more responsible alternative to waste while giving our clients access to exceptional products at prices we do not ordinarily offer.

The SSW Event gives clients an opportunity to purchase our products at reduced pricing with certain conditions. This may mean a cosmetic imperfection, a sample or discontinued product, limited packaging, or another condition that we have disclosed before purchase.

We still take great care in handling and packaging every SSW bag, and all bags will include a dust bag because proper storage and care are important to the longevity of your bag. However, SSW purchases may not include the complete presentation and unwrapping experience that accompanies products purchased from our regular collection. For example, the signature unboxing presentation included with our New Yorker bags is reserved for New Yorkers purchased from our regular collection.

Ultimately, the two experiences are designed for different priorities. If having a product that meets our complete aesthetic standards and the full Silver & Riley presentation are important to you, we recommend shopping our regular collection. If you simply want the product and are comfortable accepting the disclosed conditions and a simplified experience in exchange for significant savings, SSW may be right for you.

Absolutely. We welcome first-time clients to shop the SSW Event, and it can be a wonderful opportunity to experience Silver & Riley for the first time.

The products offered during SSW are the same standards of quality and craftsmanship that Silver & Riley is known for. If there is a known variation from our usual standards, we will note it directly on the individual product page. Many SSW products are completely brand new, while others may be samples, products used in photoshoots, discontinued products, or products that we simply chose not to include in our regular collection. We encourage you to treat the product description as your source of truth when deciding which SSW product is right for you.

No. SSW inventory is determined by what is available at the time of each event, and quantities are extremely limited.

Some products may only have one unit available, particularly samples, discontinued products and products with individual cosmetic imperfections. Once a product sells out, we cannot guarantee that another will become available.

If you see something you love, we recommend purchasing it while it is available.

Our SSW event takes place at select times throughout the year, typically once or twice, based on available inventory. Because SSW is driven by samples, discontinued products, warehouse inventory and products that do not meet our standard aesthetic requirements, every event is different.

We run a full-priced business and do not participate in traditional discounting or promotional events such as Black Friday. The SSW event is one of the few opportunities throughout the year to purchase Silver & Riley products at significantly reduced pricing, with savings of up to 60% off standard pricing.

We do our best to ensure that discount codes are automatically disabled for SSW products. In the event that our website inadvertently accepts an additional discount or promotional code on an SSW purchase, Silver & Riley reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

• SSW inventory is extremely limited. In many cases, only one unit of a particular product, color or condition level is available.
• Adding a product to your cart does not reserve it. SSW products remain available for purchase until checkout is completed. If another client completes checkout first, the product may no longer be available.
• A maximum of two SSW orders may be placed per client, per day. This helps us maintain a fair shopping experience and prevent system abuse during the event. Orders exceeding this limit may be cancelled at our discretion.
• Inventory may change throughout the event. As our team completes additional inspections and inventory reviews, additional SSW products may be added. There is no guarantee that a particular product, color or condition level will be added or restocked.
  
• We cannot honor SSW pricing after the event has ended. SSW pricing applies only to eligible inventory purchased during the event. Products from our regular collection remain at their regular prices.
• We cannot retroactively apply SSW pricing. If a product purchased previously at regular price later appears in SSW, the SSW price cannot be applied to a previous purchase. SSW inventory is separately designated based on the condition or circumstances of the individual product.
• SSW purchases cannot be returned or exchanged. This program was created as part of our commitment to sustainability and reducing unnecessary waste, and the returns process creates additional transportation, packaging and emissions that work against the purpose of the event. We go to great lengths to ensure that you know exactly what you are purchasing by individually photographing the products and including clear descriptions on individual product pages. Transparency is incredibly important to us, and there are no “gotcha” tactics here. We want you to feel informed and confident about exactly what you are purchasing. • Exchanges between SSW levels are not available. If you purchase a Level 3 product and a Level 1 product later becomes available, or vice versa, we cannot exchange one for the other.
