All about Preorders

Preorders are an important part of our business model, helping us maintain a steady inventory and reduce stock outages. 

While most of our items are available for immediate purchase and shipping, some especially high demand products may be out of stock and require a preorder. These items are clearly marked with a preorder sticker as indicated. 

Here’s everything you need to know about our preorder process: 

WHY DO WE DO PREORDERS?
Despite our best efforts to maintain a consistent order cycle, certain high-demand products sell out quickly. Since production in Italy typically takes 3 to 4 months, preordering is the best way to ensure that your desired item will be available at a predetermined time in the future.

When a high-demand item sells out and we have a restock on the way, we offer it for preorder. This guarantees you access to the new stock as soon as it becomes available, eliminating the need to rush for a restock or wait for a specific restock day. Preordering provides a more organized and thoughtful way for you to secure the items you desire.

PREORDER DATES
Each item available for preorder has a specific preorder date clearly displayed on the product page (see example below). This date is the earliest we expect to receive the inventory from our factory partners and have it ready for shipping. For example, if an item's preorder date is September 30th, we cannot ship it before this date. Please be sure you are aware of and comfortable with this date prior to placing your order.

 

PLACING YOUR PREORDER
We recommend placing your preorder as soon as possible rather than waiting for the item to be restocked. High-demand items may not be available outside of the preorder cycle. For instance, if we order 500 units of an item for September and all preorders are claimed, there will be no additional stock available upon arrival, and a new preorder date will be set for December. 

PAYMENT
Please note that your payment method will be charged at the time you place your preorder. This is the only way we can confirm your preorder.

RELIABILITY AND COMMUNICATION
We provide conservative preorder dates and meet these dates over 95% of the time. If delays occur due to factors outside our control (such as factory or customs agency delays), we will inform you of the new delivery date promptly.

CANCELATION POLICY
Preorders cannot be canceled once placed. However, in the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfill a preorder, we will cancel it on our end and refund you in full.

A NOTE ON SOLD OUT ITEMS
If an item is sold out and does not have a preorder label, it means we do not have an active restock order with our factory for that item. This could be due to low demand or because we are phasing out the item. We keep sold-out items visible to assess demand. If a sold-out item receives enough requests for restock, we may decide to restock it and make it available for preorder.
