Cost Per Wear

Cost per wear (CPW) is the cost of the item divided by the number of times you wear it. The lower the CPW, the better. Here’s how it works:

In the above example, purchase price is based on a median purchase price of respective items - the actual purchase price could be higher or lower. # of wears for designer dress and trendy fast-fashion brand is pulled from anecdotal research and evidence from sources including Glamour.

Silver & Riley bags are made from high quality materials that are made to last. With proper care, our bags are meant to last a lifetime, hence, CPW could actually be lower.

In this calculation, we are using a modest 365 wears as many of our customers report using their bags daily throughout the year. Over the course of many years, this number will multiply and CPW will decrease.
